Came here based of a recommendation from a friend and I will keep coming back as long as they are in business. Everything on their menu is inexpensive and portion size seems to be big. We usually order the chili spice mixed noodles along with some dumplings. I'm not sure how they make the noodles but they have a nice wok hei flavor to them and the noodles are QQ. I would recommend calling in your order if you are going to order takeout. I have not eaten at the restaurant but it is usually busy whenever I pick up my order.

Small cozy Chinese restaurant serving up some juicy dumplings and comfort Chinese food. The staples we usually get are the pork cabbage dumplings, the pork leek dumplings, green onion pancakes, and their chili oil noodles. The dumplings are flavorful and super juicy! You can get them pan fried or boiled. Just let them know when you order. The green onion pancakes are also light in green onion flavor, which I like but some people might want a stronger flavor. The noodles in the chili oil noodles seem like hand pulled noodles. They have a great bounciness and chew to them along with the super garlicky spicy sauce that coats each strand. Downside, there is no AC. It can be quite warm in there because they place the tables very close to each other. There is however one outside table. It can also be overwhelming to order if they are busy, since usually there's only one person working.

What a hidden gem and I can't believe I never discovered this place sooner. I'll start off by saying that all the dishes are priced so reasonably and you get so much value because the portions are huge. Another plus is that they have outside seating which is rare in the Rowland area. My favorite item is their Chili Spiced Mixed Noodles which is only $7.82!! The bounciness of the noodles with the spices is to die for and I crave this so often now. I've also tried a few of their dumplings which are probably some of the cheapest. I really enjoy the Pork with Leek, and unless you like the gamey-ness of lamb, I probably won't get the Lamb with Cabbage again. Service is pretty typical of a normal Asian spot, but the single lady that mans the entire dining room does a great job making sure everyone is accommodated for. I will be frequenting this spot very often and it's worth the 40 mins to get there for all the delicious and affordable food. Will 100000% be back and hope to be able to try the rest of their menu too!

Legit mom and pop chinese restaurant with fresh dumplings made in house, at an extremely reasonable price point. There are only a few tables at the restaurant, so expect to wait during peak dinner time. However, time passes as you wait since you can peak into the kitchen from outside to see the chefs rolling the dumplings lol. When seated, there was only one woman working front of house (maybe the owner), but she was very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Here is what we got (ranked from favorite to least favorite): - Scallion pancake beef roll - what I loved most was how thin the pancake was and the entire thing was very flavorful - pork XLB - perfectly steamed, perfect pork to wrap ratio - dumplings - their specialty - chili beef sauce mixed noodle - thick freshly rolled noodles in a spicy sauce, topped with cucumbers and beef - pork wonton soup - large portion size (especially for the price) but nothing to write home about. I think it's be perfect on a cold day when you just want something soothing. - Beef noodle soup - big portions size, but not the best I've had Our family had such a great experience eating here and supporting this mom & pop shop.

A hidden gem you won't regret visiting! With only 2-3 people running the place and a small space, it's best to be patient, especially during busy hours. That said, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and came out freshly made. We started with a refreshing cucumber salad and chili wontons. The cucumbers were crisp, garlicky, and vinegary--a great palate cleanser, though it will leave your breath extra garlicky! The chili wontons were a standout: thin, delicate wonton skin with a perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and a hint of vinegar for an added kick. Highly recommend these! For dumplings, we tried the eggplant and pork and fish with leek. The eggplant flavor was subtle, almost too mild, but the fish and leek were tender and juicy, with a delightful burst of soup inside. Both types of dumplings had a slightly thicker skin, which I actually enjoyed for its chewy texture, allowing you to savor each bite. Finally, we had the beef noodle soup--a comforting bowl of hot soup that really hit the spot. The noodles were thick-cut and silky, and the beef was impressively tender (even soft enough for my 82-year-old grandma to enjoy!) I can't wait to come back and enjoy another meal here. The prices are so reasonable, it almost feels too good to be true!

Authentic little dumpling store that serves a variety of dumplings from XLB, pan fried buns, to typical dumplings, wonton, soup, noodles, and appetizers. Dumplings came out fresh, delicious, and soupy. Service was great and pricing was super affordable! Came here on a Saturday for lunch and was immediately seated. The restaurant is a bit small and hidden, but did not disappoint. This is not a fancy restaurant but definitely a great spot if you're craving some hearty dumplings for a quick meal. The server does speak chinese but can still understand English pretty well. She was the only worker there, but really fast in attending all the tables. We ordered the : - pork XLB 10/10 - chicken and celery dumplings 8/10 The pork XLB had lots of soup in them and the dumpling skin was chewy and delicious. The chicken and celery dumplings were pretty good too and had a good amount of filling. When craving dumplings, I would definitely recommend stopping by here :) cash and cc accepted.

No frills spot that dishes up delicious dumplings at an unbelievable price! I could not believe my eyes when I saw the menu-- $7.80 for 12 dumplings?! Could this be real? Indeed, it was. It was the perfect spot for a dinner date with grandma. They had at least a dozen different filling options, a few noodle soups and apps! We opted for the pork/shrimp/leek dumplings, the pork/eggplant dumplings, chili oil wontons, beef noodle soup, and smashed garlic cucumbers. Food came out fast. They're pretty understaffed though since it seemed there was only one lady working front-of-house, so be patient if you visit and things are backed up. We were fortunate to snag a table as soon as we arrived, but the restaurant is pretty small and a line formed shortly after our arrival. Dumplings were super juicy. Loved the homemade skins. Wontons came with an addicting sweet/tangy/spicy sauce that I ended up ladling all over my noodles. The beef from the noodle soup was sliced incredibly thin and the noodles had a delightful chew. If you've got a dumpling craving, Luyu is a great spot to satisfy them!

The service was fast and honest (we ordered XLB and they were missing one of the eight so they offered a can of soda to replace). They accept credit card which I wasn't expecting at all cause the prices are cash-level good. The dumplings cost around 65 cents per and start with servings from size of 12 but go to 18 and 30. The fillings are also unique and adds a nice variety. We started with classic poke and leek but I'd definitely come back to try the dumplings with eggplant, fennel, lotus root, sour cabbage and the fish and lamb dumplings. They had a red recc star on the green scallion pancake and that dish was really disappointing. Definitely just made from frozen. The XLB was weirdly sweet and is not served with ginger (so clearly I've been spoiled by Din Tai Fung and Paradise Dynasty). The pan fried buns were why we came and were disappointing. The bottom was just from corn starch fried. kang Kang food court is soooooo much better.

No frills, mom and pop shop. Plenty of parking in their plaza. All their dumplings were delicious, great prices. I couldn't care for their pan fried dumplings - too much competition for that nearby. I buy their frozen dumplings to make at home. It's so juicy, lots of filling, chewy outer. So delicious. Definitely recommend.

Great hole in the wall venue for XLB, dumplings, pot stickers and noodles! They've been at this location for awhile but still feels like a well kept secret. Small dining room and very low key as you'd expect from these Chinese restaurants. Small staff but very friendly and attentive. Check out my pics!
